Job summary

MARINA OFFSHORE PTE LTD invites applications for the role assisting the Technical Superintendent with daily vessel operations, spares procurement, class surveys, and troubleshooting of machinery. You will help coordinate routine vessel repairs and maintain up-to-date records of certificates, manuals, and instruction books.

Based at Singapore, the successful candidate will support document control from vessels, monitor work by shipyards and contractors onboard, and be prepared to work overtime as

Qualifications

• Class 3 driving license is required.
• Malay language skills are advantageous.
• Able to work overtime when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assisting Technical Superintendent with daily operations of the vessels
• Assisting Technical Superintendent in spares and consumable purchase
• Assist Technical Superintendent in class surveys and inspections
• Assist Technical Superintendent in troubleshooting of machinery
• Assist in arranging and monitoring routine vessel repairs
• Maintain up to date records of all the vessels Certificates, manuals, drawings & instruction books
• Responsible for document control (PMS, requisitions and maintenance requests) from vessels
• Assist in monitoring of works carried out by shipyard / contractors onboard and update relevant parties involved

Skills

Class 3 driving license

Malay language advantageous

Able to work overtime
