Alibaba Cloud is looking for a Technical Marketing Associate/Manager in Singapore to drive awareness and adoption of our AI products. This role is ideal for someone who can write code, build demos, and speak the language of developers, data scientists, and technical decision-makers. You will be hands-on with our AI and cloud products, create technical content, and develop go-to-market plans that resonate with Singapore’s developer communities, tech associations, and ecosystem partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Build hands-on expertise in Alibaba Cloud AI products by testing, validating, and creating working demos that showcase real-world use cases.
• Develop and execute technical marketing and GTM strategies for AI products targeting developers, startups, enterprises, and ecosystem partners in Singapore.
• Engage with developer communities, tech associations, and industry groups to understand their needs and pitch relevant AI solutions in practical, technical terms.
• Create technical marketing content such as demo scripts, tutorials, solution guides, pitch decks, blog posts, and videos tailored for technical audiences and partners.
• Build and maintain relationships with channel partners and ecosystem partners, enabling them with technical knowledge and content to position Alibaba Cloud AI solutions effectively.
• Design and deliver enablement sessions, workshops, bootcamps, and hands-on labs for partners and developers.
• Represent Alibaba Cloud at hackathons, meetups, developer conferences, and partner events as a credible technical spokesperson.
• Collect feedback from developers, partners, and customers on AI product usability and market needs, and share actionable insights with regional product and engineering teams
• Track engagement metrics and campaign performance to continuously improve technical marketing and ecosystem programs

Qualifications & Experience

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of experience in technical marketing, developer relations, product marketing, or a technical role within the IT or cloud industry.
• Hands-on coding and computing experience; comfortable building demos, running sample code, and working with APIs, SDKs, and cloud/AI services.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and generative-AI technologies; ability to explain technical features to both developers and business stakeholders.
• Experience creating technical content such as tutorials, demos, solution guides, or training materials.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; able to engage confidently with technical communities and partners.
• Based in Singapore or authorized to work in Singapore; familiar with the local tech ecosystem.

Preferred

• Mandarin language proficiency is a strong plus for cross-border collaboration with regional teams and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
• Experience with Alibaba Cloud, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms.
• Prior experience in developer advocacy, community management, or ecosystem marketing.
• Familiarity with large language models (e.g., Qwen), AI application development, and related tooling.
