Technical Managers are leaders responsible for providing guidance and solutions to technical challenges within a Portfolio in the Organization. They are actively involved in hiring, promotions, pre-sales activities, role changes, and internal movements affecting their projects. They ensure alignment with HALO practices and timely product delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate directly with Halo Delivery Manager and client stakeholders on engagement strategies, escalated issues, and contract renewals.
  2. Lead and own engineering-related strategic plans and their execution.
  3. Adhere to and promote standards defined by Practice Managers across the organization.
  4. Monitor portfolio project's progress, focusing on technical quality.
  5. Work with technical leads & directors to define and implement company-wide technical strategies.
  6. Manage engineering staffing efforts and implement staffing plans across the portfolio.
  7. Identify and address staffing gaps.
Requirements

Seeking Technical Managers with over 10 years of leadership experience to guide and resolve technical challenges within organizational portfolios. Responsibilities include hiring, promotions, pre-sales activities, and managing role changes or internal movements impacting projects. They ensure alignment with HALO practices and timely product delivery. Support Tech Leads in technical issue resolution and architectural decisions. Delegate tasks to Principal or Distinguished Engineers as appropriate. Provide mentorship and performance feedback to Tech Leads and engineers. Represent Halo in business negotiations, provide high-level estimations and staffing plans, and participate in technical sales. Understand project financials to maximize revenue and margins while supporting career growth and development.
