Job description

The Opportunity:

As a result, the company has delivered numerous impactful landmark projects both domestically and internationally.

Now, the company is seeking a self-motivated technical expert to take the lead in pioneering its presence in the Singapore region.

Work Location at CBD

Working timing: Monday - Friday (9am - 6pm)

The Job:

  • Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of port construction projects, ensuring alignment with operational objectives and project timelines.
  • Supervise on-site construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards, while minimizing delays and cost overruns.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure projects are delivered within financial limits, offering cost-effective solutions when necessary.
  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure performance meets contractual obligations and work is completed according to agreed schedules and standards.
  • Review and approve technical designs and engineering drawings, ensuring structural integrity, functionality, and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with local, national, and international regulations, securing necessary permits and liaising with regulatory authorities as required.
  • Identify potential risks, such as safety hazards or environmental concerns, and implement mitigation strategies to prevent incidents or delays.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between project teams, management, and external stakeholders, providing regular progress updates and promptly addressing any issues.
  • Ensure seamless integration of completed projects with existing port infrastructure, enhancing functionality and long-term efficiency.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, track milestones, and oversee the final handover, ensuring all records are in place for future operations and maintenance.

The Talent:

  • Minimum Degree qualification
  • More than 5 years civil & structural design and coordination experience in construction industy, with exposure in mega infrastructure project. Experience in harbour, marine port, land reclamation projects will be a plus.
  • Open to professional who is competent in project management / technical proposal / civil & structural design
  • Familiar with Singapore bidding process will be a plus
  • Able to communicate well in Chinese due to often communication with Chinese speaking stakeholders
  • Able to perform work independently under minimal supervision
  • Highly disciplined and accountable for work
  • Entreprenuer-mindset
