Job summary

WEE SENG MARINE & ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Technical Manager to oversee marine service operations, ensure quality checks, and compile accurate reports and deliverables for owners, class, and customers.

The role requires hands-on leadership in workshops and on vessels. You will work with vendors, designers, classification, and flag authorities, review technical drawings, coordinate with owners and superintendents, and drive project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Attends and manages dealings with vendors, designers, classification, and flag statutory on engineering issues
• Reviewing technical specifications and drawings from designer meeting owner, class, and customer requirements
• To perform any other duties & responsibilities assigned by superiors from time to time
• Good time management and work independently
• Good communication skills with Ship Owners and Superintendents
• Working in workshop and vessels
• Ability to demonstrate and implement cost-saving measures
• Ability to lead and manage project operations, schedule and specifications

Job description

TECHNICAL MANAGER will be under Marine service line, the appropriate quality check, the compilation of accurate and customized results reports and other deliverables.

1. Working in workshop and vessels.
