Job Scope

• Developing and implementing preventative maintenance schedules for the shipping containers and equipment

• Coordinating the repair of any damaged or malfunctioning equipment, sourcing parts and services as needed

• Monitoring the performance and condition of all shipping assets and identifying areas for improvement

• Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and industry regulations

• Managing a team of maintenance technicians, mechanics and engineers

• Liaising with external vendors and service providers to deliver cost-effective and timely solutions

• Analyzing maintenance data and providing recommendations to improve operational efficiency

Requirements

• Extensive experience (4+ years) in a senior repair and maintenance role within the shipping or logistics containers industry

• Strong technical expertise in the maintenance and repair of logistics containers and related equipment

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to quickly address any operational issues

• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of maintenance professionals

• In-depth knowledge of relevant safety regulations and industry best practices

• Strong financial management skills to control maintenance budgets and drive cost efficiencies

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
