Job summary

Tardis Group in Singapore is seeking a hands-on Technical Lead to own architecture, engineering and delivery of a core trading platform. You will lead a team of elite software engineers, DevOps engineers and architects while remaining deeply technical.

You will tackle latency, performance and scalability challenges, work with traders and quants to translate strategies into technology, and drive CI/CD, monitoring and operational excellence in an AI-native environment.

Qualifications

• Experience building low-latency HFT systems.

I am working with a high-performance proprietary trading firm that is building the next generation of low-latency trading infrastructure across on-chain and off-chain markets.

We're looking for a hands-on Technical Lead to take ownership of the architecture, engineering and delivery of their core trading platform.

This is a role for someone who has operated at the sharp end of HFT / low-latency trading technology and wants the opportunity to build something genuinely new.

You will lead a team of elite Software Engineers, DevOps Engineers and Architects while remaining deeply technical yourself.

Day-to-day:

• Designing and building a greenfield, high-performance trading platform
• Owning architecture across market data, execution, risk and infrastructure
• Tackling complex latency, performance and scalability challenges
• Writing and reviewing critical production code
• Leading, mentoring and growing a high-calibre engineering team
• Working directly with traders and quants to translate trading strategies into technology
• Driving engineering practices across testing, CI/CD, monitoring and operational excellence
• Building an AI-native engineering environment and rethinking how the team designs, develops and delivers

Requirements:

• Deep hands-on experience building low-latency HFT systems
• Strong C++, Rust or equivalent high-performance programming experience
• A genuine understanding of trading infrastructure from market data - execution - risk
• Experience leading high-performing engineering teams
• A track record of solving difficult performance and latency problems
• The technical conviction to make and own major architectural decisions
