FPT Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. seeks an experienced Technical Lead (Frontend) to direct the design and development of enterprise web apps for a next-gen client engagement platform.

You will steer frontend architecture, coding standards, performance, API integration, testing, and delivery while mentoring frontend engineers. You will lead architecture reviews, design reusable components, integrate with REST APIs and microservices, and ensure security and accessibility across OpenShift/Kubernetes

Competenze

• 7–10+ years of frontend/web development experience.
• Minimum 2–3 years in a Technical Lead, Frontend Lead, or Lead Engineer role.
• Strong hands-on experience with React 18/19, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Redux Toolkit, Zustand, React Query, TanStack Query, React Router.

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead (Frontend) to lead the design and development of complex enterprise web applications for a next-generation client engagement platform.

The role will provide technical direction across frontend architecture, development standards, code quality, performance, API integration, testing, and delivery. You will work closely with Solution Architects, Backend Engineers, UX/UI, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders while mentoring frontend developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead frontend architecture and technical design using React, TypeScript, and modern frontend engineering practices.
• Provide technical guidance to frontend developers and conduct architecture, design, and code reviews.
• Design reusable components, shared libraries, state management patterns, and scalable frontend solutions.
• Develop and optimise complex, data-intensive applications including dynamic forms, multi-tab workspaces, workflow dashboards, and autosave/draft functionality.
• Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs, microservices, API gateways, and enterprise authentication platforms.
• Implement and oversee integrations with bpmn-js, dmn-js, forms-js, or similar BPM/workflow technologies.
• Drive frontend performance optimisation, code splitting, bundle optimisation, caching, and application responsiveness.
• Establish frontend testing standards using Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright/Cypress, and automated testing practices.
• Ensure applications comply with security, accessibility, coding, and enterprise architecture standards.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, static analysis, security scanning, and deployment to OpenShift/Kubernetes environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technical planning, estimation, dependencies, and delivery.
• Mentor junior and mid-level frontend engineers and promote frontend engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of frontend/web development experience.
• Minimum 2–3 years in a Technical Lead, Frontend Lead, or Lead Engineer role.

• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, reusable component design, state management, and performance optimisation.
• Experience with bpmn-js, dmn-js, forms-js, or similar workflow/BPM technologies.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs, microservices, OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, and enterprise authentication platforms.
• Experience with frontend testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Familiarity with Vite, Webpack, Babel, ESLint, npm/pnpm, and modern build tools.
• Experience with CI/CD, SonarQube/Veracode, containerised applications, and OpenShift/Kubernetes.
• Strong technical leadership, communication, problem-solving, and mentoring skills.

Preferred Experience

• Banking, financial services, or wealth management applications.
• Client onboarding, KYC, CRS/FATCA, risk profiling, or case management platforms.
• Dynamic or metadata-driven form engines with complex validation and conditional logic.
• Enterprise design systems or shared frontend component libraries.
• Micro Frontend architecture.
