Job summary

Azqore SA Singapore Branch seeks a senior Credit & Risk software engineer to translate and enhance our risk platforms. You will collaborate with developers, QA, architects, and business experts across Singapore and Switzerland to design solutions, support releases, and improve data governance and reporting capabilities.

The role requires 10+ years in COBOL/Java, strong knowledge of banking operations, and solid experience with REST APIs and distributed enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in COBOL and Java development for enterprise apps.
• Experience in credit risk, Basel/CRR regulatory reporting, collateral or data governance.
• Knowledge of private banking, wealth management, or banking operations.
• Familiar with REST APIs and integration frameworks.
• Understanding of software design principles and architecture.
• Experience with distributed application platforms and enterprise systems.
• Proficient with Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Translate and enhance Credit & Risk software applications and digital platforms.

• Coordinate testing, defect management, UAT, and business sign-off.
• Contribute to credit risk, collateral, regulatory reporting, data quality, and governance initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, reporting, and data quality.

Job Description:

• Translate and enhance Credit & Risk software applications and digital platforms.

• Define functional solution designs supporting application development.
• Collaborate closely with other developers, QA engineers, architects, and business experts throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Participate in application architecture and integration design activities.
• Support production releases and post-deployment validation.
• Analyse application performance and identify enhancement opportunities.
• Support digital transformation and modernization initiatives.
• Act as the key liaison between business stakeholders in France, subject matter experts and the Proxy Product Owner in Switzerland, and the Agile delivery team in Singapore.
• Analyze impacts across systems, data flows, regulatory reporting processes, and business operations.
• Facilitate workshops, backlog refinement sessions, sprint planning activities, and requirement clarification meetings with international stakeholders.
• Support Product Owners in backlog management, prioritization, roadmap planning, and release preparation.
• Coordinate and support testing activities, defect management, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and business sign-off.
• Contribute to initiatives related to credit risk management, collateral management, regulatory reporting, data quality, data lineage, and risk data governance.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes, operational efficiency, reporting capabilities, and data quality.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience in Credit Risk, Basel/ CRR regulatory reporting, collateral management, data governance, or risk data initiatives.
• Knowledge of private banking, wealth management, or banking operations.
