Job Title: Technical Delivery Manager NextGen Payments
Job Responsibility:
- Plan technical deliverables (including any system enhancements and upgrades) to meet project requirements within allocated budget and schedule.
- Collaborate across different application teams to manage technical dependencies of the solution.
- Monitor and manage risks/issues related to technical delivery.
- Provide status updates related to technical delivery to the Project Manager (PM).
- Partner with System Analysts and Functional Business Analysts to understand and finalize functional and technical requirements.
- Ensure solution design complies with enterprise design principles, security, and control standards in collaboration with Architects and Development Leads.
- Manage application teams to build enhancements in partnership with the Development Manager.
- Ensure completion of System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), performance/load testing, and application security testing with quality results in collaboration with the Test Manager.
- Coordinate technical implementation activities across application teams to ensure non-event production cutover and adequate post-implementation support.
- Escalate issues that impact project schedule on a timely basis and propose workarounds/resolutions.
Technical Skills & Experience:
- Strong technical knowledge and/or platform knowledge in Payment Platforms.
- Good business domain knowledge in the payments area (e.g., ISO, SWIFT, Local Schemes).
- More than 8 years of experience in developing and delivering global/regional IT capabilities for a multinational/regional company with annual budgetary responsibility.
- More than 3 years of leadership experience in managing IT delivery teams.
- Experience in communicating with technical stakeholders.
- Experience in the banking industry preferred.
- Experience in implementing large-scale, highly available applications or other large project implementations.
- Experience in service-oriented technologies.
- Proven result-oriented person with a focus on delivery.
- Experience in systems development work, including prior coding, functional specifications, technical specifications, and testing experience (in aggregate no less than 8 years).
- Good understanding and experience in the software development cycle.
- Highly effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, synthesis, system thinking, and solutioning skills.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a similar domain.
- Related professional/technical qualification will be advantageous although not mandatory.
