Job Description:

Job Objectives

We are presently seeking a candidate for the position of Technical Delivery Manager, who can also support Domain Architect functionality. This role involves engaging in various projects to strategize solutions and perform impact assessments for Finance Technology Systems.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work closely with stakeholders to develop practical domain roadmaps that guide the enterprise towards the future state, considering business, technical, and delivery constraints.
  • Analyze stakeholder requirements, current architecture, and gaps to create a future state architecture vision focused on reducing complexity, increasing cost efficiencies, promoting reuse, minimizing risk, and enhancing business capabilities.
  • Review application designs, problem tickets, and incidents to propose short-term and long-term resolutions aligned with the domain roadmap.
  • Guide and challenge projects on architecture and design decisions.
  • Govern the technical debt within the domain.
  • Review non-functional requirements and proposed architecture changes to anticipate evolving needs.
  • Develop architecture principles and standards.
  • Communicate principles, standards, vision, and roadmaps to stakeholders, proactively addressing questions and concerns.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders in business and IT to define and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Provide thought leadership on architectural topics.
  • Embed Platform Thinking in all activities.

Technical Skills & Experience

  • Experience delivering mission-critical, enterprise-scale IT solutions, both in-house and third-party products.
  • Familiarity with architecture frameworks/methodologies like TOGAF, Zachman, BIAN, etc.
  • Practical experience in data and object modeling, design patterns, and enterprise architecture tools.
  • Knowledge of heterogeneous platforms such as Unix/Linux and Windows.
  • Familiarity with best practices and tools across the entire solution lifecycle.

Functional Expertise

  • Experience in Finance/Risk/Regulatory systems maintenance and implementation.
  • Knowledge of transaction data models, interface patterns, and external integrations.
  • Ability to understand banking products and regulatory requirements, proposing functional enhancements for the bank's roadmap.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Related professional or technical qualifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
