Job description

Accountable for end-to-end delivery of the Cash Management Program from pre-project to post go-live support.

  1. Plan, track, and manage budgets and resources.
  2. Manage vendor relationships, including SOWs, budgets, invoice approvals, resource onboarding/offboarding, and governance through regular meetings.
  3. Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team.
  4. Partner with business stakeholders and architects to understand requirements and technical design.
  5. Plan, manage, and track delivery using a combination of agile and traditional tools to ensure sequencing and tracking across all streams.
  6. Proactively manage risks and highlight issues in appropriate forums for resolution.
  7. Ensure project delivery adheres to bank’s software delivery, security, and release management standards and guidelines.
  8. Plan and deliver all checkpoints and deliverables to meet bank standards and quality gates.
  9. Plan and track development dependencies to ensure timely closure.
  10. Incorporate quality standards into the development process with a quality-first approach.
  11. Use data-driven metrics to measure and monitor progress and quality.
  12. Participate in Scrum of Scrums and cross-stream meetings to discuss dependencies.
  13. Conduct regular checkpoints (daily scrums, weekly meetings) and track actions to closure.
  14. Implement change management processes to deliver business outcomes.
  15. During testing phases, actively drive defect resolution to meet SLAs, and monitor defect density and re-open rates.
  16. Promote an inclusive culture with active team participation during meetings and standups.
  17. Identify areas for improvement from each sprint and work towards continuous improvement to enhance velocity and quality.

Lead and contribute to cross-team initiatives related to agile practices, CI/CD tools, architecture, project management, and governance, including further adoption of the Bank’s System Development Methodology (SDM).

Skills

  • 12-15 years of experience with a successful track record in delivering complex projects.
  • At least 5 years of experience in payments, cash management, or channels domain applications.
  • At least 5 years of managing large-scale projects, building applications from scratch using APIs and microservices, and leading multiple streams.
  • Experience managing virtual teams in an onsite/offshore model.
  • Development background with the expertise to coach, design, plan, and deliver complex applications.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong overall delivery management and team velocity driving skills.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
