Technical Coordinator (Oil Tankers)
Job description
Responsibilities:
- Support the Technical Superintendent/Manager in planning, overseeing, and controlling budgets related to fleet repair and maintenance activities.
- Ensure vessels' certificates remain valid and systematically manage electronic documents in the system.
- Assist in the quotation and requisition process for services and stores as required.
- Aid in drafting technical specifications for ship dockings and maintenance projects.
- Analyze and track Planned Maintenance System (PMS) reports from vessels and follow up as needed.
- Monitor and manage the collection of month-end reports from the fleet.
- Undertake any other tasks or projects assigned by the Technical Superintendent/Manager.
Requirements:
- Diploma/ITE in Marine Engineering or a relevant field (candidates with maritime or engineering backgrounds are preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Capable of delivering tasks efficiently and meeting deadlines.
- Strong team collaboration skills.
