Services Description (Technical Consultant)
Responsible for managing information technology (IT) Application Technology and related vendor & stakeholders' management.
The candidate will work with other teams to accomplish project goals, ensure delivery on time, within budget, and meet project scope. Responsible for project execution and managing technical scope deliveries throughout the project lifecycle.
The role duties include but are not limited to the following:
Technical Deliveries
- Work with the bank’s internal infrastructure and Cloud Engineering teams to set up and configure new environments to support project execution.
- Coordinate with IT Security to ensure requirements and clearance of the IT Security checklist before go-live, including VAPT, hardening, and monitoring.
- Work closely with vendors to address all technical prerequisites, deployment, and provide technical support to keep projects on track regarding timeline, scope, and cost.
- Collaborate with other application teams on all technical scope aspects of the project.
Project Management Deliveries
- Assist Program/Project Manager with timelines and deliverables during project implementation.
- Contribute to achieving outcomes that realize benefits within scope, time, cost, and quality constraints.
- Report status updates to the Program/Project Manager and Lead, Payment Platform & Enabler, for PSC updates on financials, risks, issues, and milestones.
- Ensure adherence to project, program, enterprise methodologies, and processes.
- Monitor and track daily contributions to the projects.
Risk & Issue Management
- Identify, monitor, report, and escalate risks and issues to relevant stakeholders to facilitate resolutions.
Stakeholder Management
- Engage, inform, influence, and negotiate with stakeholders, including business units responsible for technology and services.
Vendor & Co-delivery Team Management
- Manage vendors and infrastructure teams during implementation, including issue resolution, technical requirements, and status updates.
Requirements
- Recognized degree or master's in information technology, banking & finance, with at least 4 years of experience in banking, especially with AML applications like Watchlist Management, Customer Due Diligence, and Transaction Monitoring.
- Experience in banking domain, particularly payment systems.
- Experience with web technologies and AWS/cloud services.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently, handle multiple initiatives, and deliver quality results on time.
- Strong collaboration skills and a proactive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure, with problem-solving skills and ownership mentality.
