Job summary

BAUMANN Spring Co. (S) Pte. Ltd in Singapore is seeking a seasoned Sourcing & Purchasing professional to manage RFQs, supplier audits and full P2P with SAP experience.

The role requires a Diploma in Purchasing/Logistics or Engineering and 5+ years in a manufacturing setting under IATF16949. You will orchestrate direct/indirect material sourcing and maintain strong supplier relationships. The position emphasizes negotiation, accuracy, and integrity, with close collaboration to Logistics for space

Qualifications

• Min. 5 years of experience in sourcing, purchasing and 3rd party management in a manufacturing environment with IATF16949 system including suppliers’ audit.
• Diploma education in Purchasing/Logistics or Engineering.
• Responsible for sourcing of direct and indirect materials, machineries and services.
• Proficient with ERP software, SAP preferred.
• Strong negotiation, communication and coordination skills.
• Maintain professional relationships with suppliers and ensure integrity.

Responsibilities

• Handle the Request for Quotations (RFQ) following the Purchasing procedure.
• Ensure goods & services purchased meet PREQ (PR) at best TCO & contract conditions.
• Prepare purchase orders in SAP and manage the full P2P process.
• Plan 3rd party material delivery schedules.
• Coordinate between 3rd party vendors and internal stakeholders to meet deliveries.
• Collaborate with Logistics to optimize warehouse space.
• Act as owner for audit inquiries and findings.
• Meet departmental targets and maintain documentation.
• Follow-up on additional duties as required.

Requirement :

• Min. 5 years of experience in sourcing, purchasing and 3rd party management in a manufacturing environment with IATF16949 system including suppliers’ audit.

• Possess a minimum of diploma education, in Purchasing/Logistics or any Engineering discipline.

• Responsible for sourcing of direct and indirect materials, machineries and services.

• Computer literate (Microsoft Office) with speed and accuracy.

• Competence with ERP software, especially SAP is an advantage.

• Flexible, resourceful and task-oriented.

• Good negotiator, communicator, interpersonal and co-ordination skills.

• Maintain a professional relationship with suppliers

• Operate with the highest standards of integrity.

Responsibilities :
