Job summary

A manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking a Chemical Engineer to perform chemical analysis, assist in audits, and collaborate with suppliers. Candidates with a Diploma in Chemical Engineering or related fields are encouraged to apply. Fresh graduates and those with up to 2 years of experience are welcome. CAD skills are an advantage. This role is essential in ensuring quality production processes and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Perform chemical analysis (titration) for the production baths.
  • Responsible for the verification of plant equipment.
  • Follow-up on process or specification changes when required.
  • Liaise with suppliers for technical support during new process reviews.
  • Perform periodic tests and maintain records of test results.
  • Assist technical engineers in customer and certification audits.
  • Help review new parts for existing customers.
  • Assist in costing review for new parts.
  • Assist in drafting and amending shopfloor documents.

  • Perform chemical analysis (titration) for the production baths.
  • Responsible for the verification of plant equipment.
  • Follow-up of process or specification changes where required.
  • Liaise with the suppliers to gain technical support and information during new process reviews.
  • Perform periodic tests as required, including the maintenance and record keeping of tests result. Where necessary, arrangement for external lab tests will be needed.
  • Assist technical engineers in customer and certification audits.
  • Assist technical engineers with the review of new parts (drawings and process requirements) for existing and new customers. Includes review of new part revisions for existing parts.
  • Assist in costing review for new parts.
  • Assist in drafting and amendment of related shopfloor documents. Includes but not limited to Production line record, Test reports, Analysis reports, COA, SDS and Work Instruction.
