Job summary

A leading tech support provider in Singapore is looking for a Technical Support role. This position involves providing hardware and equipment support, assisting in site deployments, and maintaining internal application systems. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of relevant experience and a Higher Diploma or Degree in IT or Computer Science. Strong communication skills and adaptability in a dynamic environment are essential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a relevant field.
  • Higher Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in networking, system integration and infrastructure projects is a plus.
  • Good verbal and written communication ability.
  • Adaptable and comfortable with changing business requirements.
  • Positive learning attitude and able to work well both independently and in a team.
  • Meticulous, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hardware & equipment support for project teams.
  • Assist in site deployments for servers and workstations.
  • Provide administrative support to managers and project teams.
  • Maintain and support internal application systems.
  • Coordinate duties between project teams and external vendors.
  • Consolidate project information for reporting.
  • Assist in other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To provide hardware & equipment support for various project teams, including servers, desktops/laptops, and peripherals, and to perform PC and/or equipment troubleshooting where required.
  • To participate in site deployments to provide assistance and support in setting up servers, workstations, and systems for project teams.
  • To provide administrative support to managers and project teams-note-taking, coordinating meetings, sourcing, request and compilation of quotations, tracking expenses, updating and maintaining documents, filing, and other project-related administrative tasks.
  • To maintain and support internal application systems.
  • To provide co-ordination duties and support between project teams, departments, and external vendors and customers.
  • To consolidate and compile relevant project information for reporting purpose.
  • To assist in other ad-hoc duties, as and when assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 2 Years of recent experience in relevant field is a plus.
  • Higher Diploma/ Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in networking, system integration and infrastructure projects is a plus.
  • Must be adaptable and comfortable with changing business requirements in a highly agile environment.
  • Good verbal and written communications ability.
