Hipster is seeking a hands-on Tech Intern in Singapore to build real-world AI and cloud solutions, work with hardware integrations, and support international teams. You will customize AI models, develop frontend modules, and collaborate across time zones with our India-based team.

The role requires enthusiasm for cloud computing, frontend development, and AI concepts, plus the ability to learn quickly in a startup setting.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of cloud computing, frontend development, and AI concepts.
• Comfortable in a startup environment with ambiguity.
• Proactive, independent and eager to learn.
• Strong communicator who can articulate ideas clearly.
• Bonus: experience with hardware SDKs, API integration, or serverless functions.
• Able to commit to a minimum 5-month internship.

Responsibilities

• Customize and deploy open-source AI models on Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, and serverless platforms.
• Build frontend modules using React, Next.js, and JavaScript libraries.
• Work with Python and other languages (PHP, Ruby, Node.js).
• Support and troubleshoot microservices on AWS.
• Integrate with hardware devices via SDKs and hands-on work.
• Collaborate daily with India-based remote team to debug software and hardware issues.
• Visit onsite locations in Singapore to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in preparing and delivering tech presentations to stakeholders and clients.

We are seeking a hands-on, driven Tech Intern to join our team in Singapore. This role is ideal for someone passionate about building real-world AI and cloud solutions, working with hardware integrations, and supporting international development teams.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Customise and deploy open-source AI models on Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, and serverless platforms
• Build and maintain frontend modules using React, Next.js, and JavaScript libraries
• Must know basics of python and you will be working with other languages and frameworks that involve PHP, ruby and node JS.
• Support and troubleshoot microservices architecture on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Integrate with hardware devices using SDKs (you’ll be hands‑on!)
• Collaborate daily with our India-based remote team to debug and support software and hardware issues
• Visit onsite locations in Singapore to ensure smooth system operations
• Assist in preparing and delivering tech presentations to stakeholders and clients

What We're Looking For:

• Currently enrolled in any discipline — preferably Computer Science, Engineering, or related — or self‑taught with strong evidence of tech passion
• Solid understanding of cloud computing, frontend development, and AI concepts
• Comfortable working in a startup environment and managing ambiguity
• Proactive, independent, and always looking to learn and improve
• Bonus: Experience or interest in hardware SDKs, API integration, or serverless functions
• Able to commit to a minimum 5-month internship
• Strong communicator — geeky is fine, but you must articulate your ideas well
