What you'll be doing:

The main responsibility of the Team Leader is to manage the customer service team and provide effective guidance. You will be responsible for supervising, managing and motivating team members on a daily basis.

As a Team Leader, you will be the contact point for all team members, so your communication skills should be excellent. You should also be able to act proactively to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaborations.

You will also be required to work closely with Scania Parts Center (SPC-Belgium) and 3PL Warehouse to optimise profitability for the business. You should also engage the team to achieve goals and KPI.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate and manage the team to deliver highquality results and timely service
  • Coordinate and support Health & Safety
  • Maintain the normal situation, detect deviations and act immediately to eliminate them
  • Using an understanding of business issues, processes and outcomes to enhance business performance
  • Demonstrates understanding of customers, their commercial offerings, industry, business, motivational drivers and needs
  • Managing others to ensure their work contributes to organizational goals. Developing individuals, building teams, resolving conflicts and applying workplace policies
  • Planning, allocating and mobilizing resources (human, physical, information and financial resources) to achieve organizational goals
  • Maintains an up to date understanding of products and services necessary to perform duties and tasks. Understands Scania products and services value proposition connected to processes and business
  • Demonstrates understanding for importance of safety and health policies, procedures and regulations. Creates and safeguards a healthy, safe and sustainable work environment for all employees
  • Listening and communicating openly, honestly, and respectfully with different audiences, promoting dialogue and building consensus
  • Providing service excellence to internal and/or external customers
  • Dealing with situations and issues proactively and persistently, seizing opportunities that arise
  • Holding yourself and others to high standards of accountability, and creating an infrastructure and transparent corporate culture that supports and measures personal and organizational responsibility and accountability
  • Recognizing the need for change, being open to new ideas and methods, and championing transformational change within the organization and beyond

Good-to-have:

  • Relevant Education or equivalent work experience
  • Business knowledge and experience from a similar role an advantage
  • Managerial and Leadership experience
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong computer literacy and good working knowledge in the most common windows-based programs
