We are seeking a dynamic Head of Cards Settlement & Transaction Processing to lead our Settlement & Transaction Processing Unit, focusing on the Issuing and Acquiring business for card transactions. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth processing of daily settlements, quick dispute resolutions, and adherence to regulatory compliance for Visa and MasterCard transactions. As the Head of the team, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and developing a high-performing group of professionals, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth processing of daily settlements, quick dispute resolutions, and adherence to regulatory compliance for Visa and MasterCard transactions. As the Head of the team, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and developing a high-performing group of professionals, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. Your people management skills will be key to motivating and guiding the team, ensuring everyone is aligned toward achieving operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team in the timely and accurate processing of Visa/MasterCard issuing settlement payments.
  • Address and resolve discrepancies in Visa/MasterCard settlements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Oversee daily settlement operations for Visa, MasterCard, and other networks to confirm transactions are reconciled promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in settlement processes.
  • Manage end-to-end transaction processing, covering AutoPay, Bill Waivers, GIRO/MMS/MPP, and book reconciliation, with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.
  • Facilitate the timely submission of monthly and quarterly reports, including Visa Operating Certificates and quarterly statistics.
  • Drive improvements in transaction processing systems and workflows, and monitor suspense schedules to mitigate operational risks.
