As a Project Management Tech Lead at Ameriprise India LLP, you will be a vital member of the project management team, supporting program managers/CDOs and serving as a liaison between various teams to ensure seamless project execution within defined timelines. Your role will demand effective communication, robust problem-solving abilities, and efficient multitasking skills.Your key responsibilities will include:Project Planning and Coordination:- Develop a comprehensive project plan encompassing project scope definition, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and milestones.- Manage the project budget diligently, ensuring cost control and prompt resolution of any variances.- Establish and maintain the project schedule, collaborating with vendor partners, cross-commit teams, and stakeholders for timely project completion.- Allocate resources efficiently to guarantee smooth project execution.Team Management:- Build and oversee a project team comprising software engineering leads, developers, QE, and subcontractors.- Provide leadership and guidance to the project team, addressing any arising issues or conflicts effectively.- Foster effective communication among team members, stakeholders, and US leaders to ensure alignment. Risk Management:- Identify potential risks and issues that could impact the project, including financial, compliance, and operational risks.- Develop and implement mitigation strategies for identified risks and unforeseen issues.- Create contingency plans to tackle potential problems and minimize disruptions.Required Qualifications:- 7+ years of experience in software-based solutions.- Hands-on experience as a project manager or project coordinator for software-based solutions.- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate concepts clearly.- Solid understanding of digital technologies and best practices.Preferred Qualifications:- Experience in a highly matrixed organization.- PMP certification.- Experience in an Agile environment.- Strong communication skills to engage the team, facilitate discussions, mentor team members, and resolve conflicts.- Ability to communicate clearly across technology and business teams.Join Ameriprise India LLP, a U.S.-based financial planning company with a global presence, dedicated to providing client-based financial solutions for over 125 years.
