About the Role
The incumbent reports to the Associate Director, Policy Management & Ops Budget, and is responsible for managing assigned suspense clearance duties. The role requires ensuring that work outputs meet quality and timeliness standards.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare various reports according to set timelines.
- Assist with suspense entries clearance across different suspense accounts.
- Ensure all work outputs are accurate.
- Carry out the suspense governance process as per Standard Operating Procedures.
- Handle inquiries from users via calls and emails.
- Ensure timely mailing of returned cheques.
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintain compliance with IT and Regulatory guidelines.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors or HOD.
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree or Diploma qualification.
- Familiarity with the AS400 system.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Insurance qualifications such as M5, M9, and LOMA are advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Strong team player with harmonious working skills.
- Self-motivated with a commitment to excellence.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Insurance Operations, Policy Servicing, or related fields in Life/A&H policies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
