Overview

As a Team Lead Finance & Accounts at Scalex Business, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily financial operations, ensuring statutory compliance, managing a team of accountants, and reporting directly to the Directors.

Your responsibilities will include ensuring timely and accurate filing of GST, TDS, and Income Tax returns, coordinating statutory audit processes, leading and mentoring a team of finance professionals, preparing financial reports, assisting with finalization of accounts, and contributing to process improvements within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST, TDS, and Income Tax returns, and compliance with statutory requirements.
• Coordinate and support statutory audit processes, including preparation of financial records and liaising with auditors.
• Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, ensuring effective task allocation and performance tracking.
• Prepare and review financial reports, including MIS, cash flow statements, and P&L summaries.
• Assist with finalization of accounts and ensure proper documentation and internal control systems.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the finance team and the Directors, ensuring transparent communication.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of finance and compliance processes within the organization.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
• CA Inter / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, taxation, and audit.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax Act, and statutory audit frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, and advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
