Team Lead, AI-RAN System

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the system-level integration of AI-RAN solutions across L1/L2/L3 base station components, ensuring seamless interoperability between hardware, firmware, and software modules.
• Take full ownership of the AI-RAN system integration strategy, planning, and executing end-to-end SIT (System Integration Testing) to validate performance, stability, and functional correctness.
• Define system interface specifications and integration workflows, coordinating with R&D, hardware, software, and QA teams to ensure smooth delivery of integrated solutions.
• Drive debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis during system integration and testing, ensuring rapid resolution of cross-layer issues.
• Develop and maintain test environments and automated test frameworks to support continuous integration and system validation in AI-RAN scenarios.
• Participate in architecture design and technical reviews to ensure integration and testability are considered from early stages of product development.
• Continuously track new technologies and tools (e.g., GPU acceleration, AI frameworks, real-time schedulers), and assess their applicability in optimizing integration and validation processes.
• Collaborate with external partners and internal stakeholders to define technical requirements and validation criteria based on market needs and customer expectations.
• Conduct comprehensive system validation using Signal Generators (SG) and Spectrum Analyzers (SA) to validate the performance, spectrum compliance, and signal quality of the AI-RAN system, ensuring that the system meets required standards for 5G/AI-based deployments.
• Utilize Test UE (User Equipment) for end-to-end system performance verification, assessing key parameters like throughput, latency, and signal quality in real-world scenarios.

Job Requirements:

• Master's degree or above in Communications Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in telecom system development, including significant experience in 4G/5G base station integration and large-scale SIT project execution.
• Deep understanding of 3GPP standards and protocol stack layers (L1/L2/L3), with proven ability to integrate and validate complex radio systems.
• Strong background in system integration testing, test planning, KPI definition, fault analysis, and regression management.
• Hands-on experience using Signal Generators (SG) and Spectrum Analyzers (SA) for testing and analyzing the RF characteristics of the RAN system.
• Proven experience working with Test UE for validating 5G/AI-RAN system performance in both controlled and real-world environments.
• Familiarity with AI-RAN related technologies, including AI-based scheduling, traffic prediction, and real-time optimization techniques.
• Hands-on experience with GPU programming, CUDA-C, and high-performance computing relevant to AI workloads in RAN environments.
• Proficient in scripting and automation tools (Python, Shell, Jenkins, etc.) used in system testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented working style.
