A leading company in offshore drilling seeks a Team Assistant to provide complex administrative support and facilitate efficient departmental operations. The ideal candidate will possess a Business related degree and have extensive secretarial experience. Responsibilities include managing budgets, liaising with departments, and maintaining departmental information systems, ensuring smooth workflow through strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years office management or increasingly responsible secretarial/administrative experience.
  • Meticulous and independent worker.
  • Ability to quickly acquire knowledge of departmental program structure.

Team Assistant


What awaits you?

  • Perform a variety of responsible, confidential and complex administrative, technical and secretarial duties
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, prepare expenditure estimates, gather and organize supporting data
  • Monitor individual accounts within these budgets to track expenditures and to alert responsible parties to potential overspending
  • Act as a liaison with other departments, staff, outside agencies and the markets and you ensure the efficient operation of the office
  • Manage the schedule and arrangement of the Head of the Department and act as administrative assistant, manage calendars and schedules, screen callers and arrange appointments, meetings and conferences
  • Maintain a management information system for the department including the preparation of reports
  • Prepare for minutes-taking at meetings
  • Initiate correspondence on a variety of matters requiring an in-depth understanding of department policies, procedures and company ordinances


What should you bring along?

  • Business degree in Business or related fields of study.
  • Minimum of five years office management or increasingly responsible secretarial/ administrative experience
  • Ability to quickly acquire knowledge of departmental program structure (mission, goals and objectives), department policies and procedures.
  • Experience of working cross functionally and internationally
  • Meticulous and independent worker.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
