Job summary

Curos Learning in Singapore is seeking a Teaching Associate to support primary students after school hours. You will supervise students, ensure their safety, and help with daily routines including meals, homework, and enrichment activities.

You will lead the EIX drama programme, coordinate materials, manage staff rosters, and communicate with parents about student progress. A collaborative, caring and energetic team environment awaits you.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE A-Level or Diploma in any discipline.
• Undergraduates may apply.
• Strong proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Genuine affinity and passion for working with children.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students and ensure their safety and well-being at all times
• Manage daily student routines including meal times, homework supervision, academic support, enrichment activities and recreational programmes
• Provide care, guidance and support to primary school students during after-school hours
• Conduct Excellence in Expression (EIX) and Holistic programmes
• Oversee procurement of materials for the Holistic programme
• Plan and manage the daily staff and student roster to ensure smooth centre operations
• Facilitate effective parent communication, including updates on student progress and addressing enquiries
• Create a nurturing, positive and engaging learning environment for students
• Coordinate and manage student pick-up and drop-off arrangements, including picking up students from school accompanying students safely on the school bus ensuring students are safely handed over during dismissal

Job description

As a Teaching Associate, you will:

• Supervise students and ensure their safety and well-being at all times


• Manage daily student routines including meal times, homework supervision, academic support, enrichment activities and recreational programmes


• Provide care, guidance and support to primary school students during after-school hours


• Conduct Excellence in Expression (EIX) and Holistic programmes
  EIX is a structured drama-based programme that builds students' confidence, creativity, communication skills and teamwork through movement, voice work, storytelling, improvisation and prop-based activities


• Oversee procurement of materials for the Holistic programme


• Plan and manage the daily staff and student roster to ensure smooth centre operations


• Facilitate effective parent communication, including updates on student progress and addressing enquiries


• Create a nurturing, positive and engaging learning environment for students


• Coordinate and manage student pick-up and drop-off arrangements, including:picking up students from schoolaccompanying students safely on the school busensuring students are safely handed over during dismissal

What You Need to Succeed

• MinimumGCE A-Level or Diplomain any discipline

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 7.00pm
