Teaching Assistant

We are looking for caring and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support students with diverse learning needs in an inclusive classroom setting. No prior experience is required, training will be provided. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education, eager to learn, and committed to making a positive impact in the lives of children.

Job Duties & Requirements:

• Full time position (Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm)
• Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom support
• Provide one-on-one or small group academic assistance
• Support students in developing social-emotional and life skills
• Reinforce behavioural strategies and help implement IEP goals
• Assist with transitions, routines, and personal care if needed
• Collaborate with staff to address student needs and progress

Qualification/Experience requirements:

• Minimum Nitec qualification
• Relevant experience supporting children or students with special needs is an advantage
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Patient, reliable, and able to work collaboratively with teaching and therapy teams
• Willingness to undergo training in safeguarding and behavioural strategies
• Able to commit to at least 2 academic years
