Job summary

Kangaroo Learning Center Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support teachers during lessons, facilitate classroom activities, and communicate with parents as needed.

You will help monitor student progress and coordinate school activities in a collaborative environment. The role emphasizes strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and the ability to follow instructions while maintaining a patient, child-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Comfortable working with children and communicating with parents in a professional and respectful manner.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions accurately.
• Willing to learn, proactive, and detail-oriented.
• Flexible working arrangements, availability on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays (8:30 AM – 9:00 PM) and certain weekdays when notified.

Responsibilities

• Record class notes and lesson videos for academic and quality-control purposes.
• Assist teachers during lessons to ensure smooth classroom operations.
• Facilitate classroom activities.
• Understand students’ learning progress and classroom behaviour, and provide learning support to parents where needed.
• Provide instant feedback on students and parents to the respective teacher.
• Coordinate and support large-scale events, seminars, or school activities (e.g. ushering, setup, on-site coordination).
• Any other teaching assistant related tasks as required.
