Job summary

Learning Wings Pte. Ltd. is seeking a part-time Primary English/Phonics teacher to conduct engaging lessons in physical classes across multiple centres on Saturdays, Sundays and weekday evenings.

Candidates should be NIE teachers (current/ex/retired) with a teaching degree/diploma, and have 2–3 years of experience with 4–12 student groups. Proficiency with MOE syllabus, Google Drive, and MS Office is required. The role requires owning a laptop and a commitment of at least 6 months.

Qualifications

• Must be NIE Teacher (current/ex/retired) for Pri English with a Teaching Degree or Diploma.
• Able to work on weekends and weekday evenings.
• Up to date with MOE syllabus.
• Caring and articulate.
• Passionate about teaching and nurturing children.
• 2–3 years of teaching children (4–12 students per class).
• Be punctual for all lessons.
• Familiar with Google Drive / MS Office; must use own laptop.

Responsibilities

• Adhere strictly to centre requirements.
• Commit for at least 6 months or be subject to a penalty; bonus of $5 per session, up to $100 per class per semester for punctual attendance.

IMMEDIATE ASSIGNMENTS for Group Tuition (Primary) for:

Teacher (Primary & Phonics, Part-Time, [ SG, on Saturdays, Sundays and weekdays ]

Responsibilities (Teacher):

• You will be helping deserving students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

• Deliver engaging and interesting lessons. Physical Classes.

• Primary English / Phonics (K1-P2).

• Employ interesting teaching methods to engage students and retain their attention span.

• Nurture students to be self-directed learners and instill values at valuable teachable moments.

• Improve students' grades, showing tangible improvement.

• Conduct assessments, and record Progress (online)

• Curriculum Materials are completely provided

• Be a positive and nurturing teacher whose lessons students look forward to coming to.

• Strictly adhere to centre requirements

• Must commit for at least 6 months or a penalty is imposed. Bonus of $5/session, up to $100 per class taught each semester when you are punctual for all lessons without absenteeism.

Requirements:

• Must be a Trained NIE Teacher (Current / Ex / Retired) for Pri English with a Teaching Degree/Diploma OR experienced Phonics / pre-school teachers.

• Able to work on weekends and weekday evenings (from 4pm onwards) .

• Up to date with MOE syllabus.

• A caring personality and articulate.

• Passionate about teaching and nurturing children.

• At least 2-3 years of experience in teaching children is a must (4-12 students in a group).

• Be punctual for all lessons.

• Familiar with Google Drive / MS Office; must use own laptop. Teaching materials will be provided.

• We can only employ Singaporeans and permanent residents.

Location: 13 Centres Island-wide.
