Role Summary

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Hospitality Services Instructor with a strong culinary background to inspire and guide students in their educational journey. This role combines teaching excellence, industry expertise, and mentorship to shape the future of aspiring hospitality professionals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a mentor and role model for students and fellow educators in the Hospitality Services domain.
  • Provide career guidance and support students’ personal and professional development.
  • Develop and deliver engaging, industry-relevant instructional materials.
  • Create a positive, dynamic, and safe learning environment that reflects real-world hospitality settings.
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and community partners to support student success.

Personal Competencies, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, Food & Beverage Operations, or a related field.
  • Proficient in food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative and learner-focused coaching approach.
  • A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring young learners.

It will be good if you have :

  • WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) and/or Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education (DACE) or equivalent certification.
  • Specialisation in Pastry and Baking is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience, including at least 2 years in a training or instructional capacity within the Hotel or Food & Beverage sector.
