The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, monitoring student development, and working with parents and stakeholders. A good undergraduate degree and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) are required. Passion for teaching students aged 13 to 18 is a must.

Job Description

The duties and responsibilities of a Teacher shall include the following but not limited to:

1. Plan, prepare and deliver lessons
2. Tailor and apply pedagogy that may attend to different learnings of the students
3. Evaluate and provide feedback on students’ performance via assignments and assessments
4. Monitor students’ social development through counselling and working with parents
5. Work with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. parents) to ensure meeting the pastoral and cognitive needs of the students
6. In-charge of at least one co-curricular activity and/or committee
7. Participate in departmental meetings, parents’ teacher meetings and any other school-wide training events
8. Any other duties assigned by the School

Job Requirements

• A good undergraduate degree in the relevant discipline
• A Post-Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) is required
• Passion to teach the age group of students from 13 to 18 years old
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good team player

This is a 2-year contract (renewable)
