Job description

If you believe English should be taught with both structure and spark, where every lesson is clear, exciting, and deeply creative, then Curion is the place for you.

We design original, imaginative materials that make students look forward to class, not dread it. If that sounds like your kind of teaching, we want to meet you.

Who We Are

(Formerly Morris Allen English, we have now rebranded to Curion)

  • 32 years of experience in English enrichment, operating since 1993

  • Taught over 80,000 students

  • Backed by a legacy of results, but never stuck in the past

  • Recently rebranded and refreshed to meet the needs of today’s learners

  • Combining proven methods with innovative, activity-based curriculum that makes learning clear, exciting, and unforgettable

We’re looking for English teachers with 2 or more years of experience who are curious, expressive, and excited to grow with us. If you love children, enjoy writing and speaking, and want to build a meaningful career in education, this is your launchpad.

What You’ll Do
  • Teach Primary 1 to 6 English classes using our in-house method

  • Guide students through structured writing techniques, fun skill games, and weekly activity-based learning journeys

  • Track student progress and give personalised feedback

  • Collaborate with our curriculum team to test and refine new lessons

  • Receive direct mentorship from experienced teacher-leaders

Who You Are
  • English teacher with 2 or more years of experience

  • University background in humanities, social sciences, communications, or related fields

  • Strong spoken and written English

  • Cheerful, reliable, and eager to work with children

  • Curious about how kids learn and excited to build something better

  • MUST be willing to work on weekends (Wednesday - Sunday work week. Weekdays 1-9pm, Weekends 8.30am-6.30pm.)

What You’ll Get
  • Salary range is $4000 - 5500 depending on experience, with clear growth and promotion pathways.

  • Bonus Program Participation: In our close-knit team, your bonus is directly tied to the impact you make. The more you contribute to both student success and company growth, the greater your reward. You'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in shaping the future of Curion.

  • Supported growth pathways into curriculum development, centre leadership, or programme strategy.

  • Paid training and mentorship from senior educators.

  • Dynamic startup culture: small team, big ideas, real ownership. Opportunity for responsibility to grow as the business scales.

What else you will enjoy at Curion

  • Creative, low-burn classroom hours: We don’t believe in cramming or grinding. Our lessons are purposeful, engaging, and paced with intent.

  • Rest and variety during school holidays: During term breaks (e.g. December), you’ll enjoy significantly fewer teaching hours. Instead, this time is used for a mix of curriculum planning, creative workshops, or holiday camp facilitation. This offers a refreshing shift from classroom routines.

  • Tight-knit culture: We’re a small, mission-driven team that celebrates good ideas and kind people.

  • No rigid bureaucracy: Your voice matters here. You’ll have influence over how we grow and how kids learn.

  • Values-driven team: Work with passionate educators who are genuinely committed to building the next frontier of English education in Singapore.
