As a Teacher Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting educators and creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for our students. Curriculum & Instructional Excellence
  • Assist in creating clean, safe and conducive learning environment which promotes student learning and development
  • Assist and guide students to practice learned skills, maintain established routines and follow instructions to complete activities/tasks.
  • Assist lead class educator in preparing and producing learning materials which cater to the learning style and needs of students.
  • Conduct multiple practices during lessons (direct teaching), with reference to lesson plans, under guidance and supervision of the lead educator
Holistic Student Development
  • Build a strong relationship with students by exhibiting care, concern and encouragement
  • Implement positive, robust class routines to foster student development and well-being
  • Implement specific behavior support under guidance and supervision of the lead educator
  • Assist lead class educator with data collection to understand students' profile and monitor progress of learning
  • Support lead class educator in determining individualized goals for each student to enhance their development (IEP/ITP/IBP goals)
Professional Development
  • Proactively engage in professional development activities to facilitate ongoing knowledge and skills development
  • Participate in cluster meetings and school-based training to upgrade relevant knowledges and skills.
Other Areas
  • Participate in various school initiatives and/or events (e.g. support on the actual day of event)
  • Assist in CCA duties
  • Liaise with stakeholder such as Allied Professionals and caregivers to support students' development and well- being
  • Assist lead class educator to manage daily administrative tasks (e.g. track attendance, collect forms)
Requirements:
  • O Levels/Relevant Certificates in Education are welcome
  • Candidates who possessed a Local Diploma / IB / A Levels / Local Degree may be considered for the position of Educator
  • Relevant experience in teaching special needs students will be an advantage
  • Working location: Eden School (Bukit Batok), 101 Bukit Batok West Ave 3 S(659168)
  • Work hours: 8am - 3.30pm or 10.15am - 5.45pm (Depending on the session you are allocated to based on operational needs)
  • Starting salary : $2,200
