We are seeking an experienced individual with 2 or more years of post-education experience in manufacturing, operations, project management, supply chain, or related fields. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a highly innovative company leading the transformation of global information usage.

As a Part Operations Engineer, you will play a vital role in our Technology Development department. You will coordinate, analyze, and optimize the performance of new parts within the fab, focusing on quality and efficiency. Your engineering and operations expertise will help you implement and improve business processes and metrics, collaborating across various teams in a dynamic, goal-oriented industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with key team members to develop applications and processes to improve production metrics.
  • Collaborate with engineering to plan for future product introductions.
  • Coordinate with engineering and operations teams to address area issues, priorities, and projects.
  • Communicate fab performance metrics to diverse stakeholders.
  • Manage New Part Introduction (NPI) processes between teams.
  • Set strategic and tactical plans for WIP, cycle time, and priority allocations in collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Drive operational planning to meet critical timelines.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to track project status.
  • Track and report on key lot statuses.
  • Use statistical analysis to optimize performance metrics and capacity information.
  • Present findings and recommend solutions to performance gaps.
  • Research and apply new data modeling techniques and tools.
  • Evaluate scenarios, perform what-if analyses, and work with engineering and operations to assess impacts.
  • Innovate with predictive models and decision tools to meet business needs.
  • Seek out new methodologies and tools to better predict manufacturing KPIs.
Qualifications:
  • Excellent multitasking, time management, organization, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex analysis clearly and concisely.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to develop and implement efficiency plans.
  • Experience facilitating meetings and managing project teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of statistics, data analysis, and problem resolution.
  • Knowledge of tools like Tableau, Power BI, Python, R.
  • Understanding of production line management techniques.
  • Eagerness to learn semiconductor manufacturing concepts.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing science, scheduling, inventory, and capacity planning.
Education and Experience:
  • Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Operations Management, Supply Chain, or equivalent.
  • At least two years of experience in operations or manufacturing.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes related to capacity, automation, scheduling, and efficiency.
