Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare individual, corporate, and GST tax returns, including GST remission applications
- Liaise with clients and IRAS on tax-related queries and correspondence
- Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with local tax regulations and e-filing requirements
- Prepare tax computations schedules and various statutory filings
- Conduct research and analyse tax risks and governance impacts for clients or the organisation
- Assist in various tax matters including corporate tax, GST, GST remission, certificate of residency for individual and companies, withholding tax, transfer pricing issues and individual tax including partial or full tax on tax computation
- Draft responses to IRAS and support the team in resolving tax issues
- Support in estimating tax liabilities and other related duties
Job Requirements:
- Recognised degree in Accountancy or a related field, or a relevant professional qualification (e.g., Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals)
- 3 to 5 years of relevant tax experience, preferably from a major accounting firm
- Preferably a member of SCTP or/and possessing a SCTP accreditation would be an added advantage
- Proficient in written English and Chinese, with the ability to communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking clients
