Job summary

ROEDL OUTSOURCING LLP is hiring for a Tax professional to handle statutory filings, tax computations, and e-filing duties in Singapore. You will review tax returns, analyse data for computations, and monitor developments affecting tax compliance in a dynamic firm setting.

The role requires at least 4 years at a professional accounting firm with experience in Corporate Tax, Personal Tax and GST matters; SIATP membership or progress is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience with a professional accounting firm.
• Experience in tax advisory for Corporate Tax, Personal Tax and GST related matters a plus.
• Obtained / pursuing SIATP membership or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Review tax computations and tax returns.
• Review other tax-related statutory e-filings.
• Research and analyse data to perform tax computations.
• Prepare accurate tax returns for e-filing.
• Identify developments that impact tax compliance.
• Keep proper tax-related documentation.
• Check notices of assessment.
• Review tax provisions.
• Review responses to manage tax controversies, including defending organisation’s or client’s tax positions and responding to tax authority’s queries.
• Draft tax advice to the client or management.
• Ensure proper documentation of tax technical and/or tax legal positions supporting the tax advice.
