Job summary

KLP LLP is seeking a detail-oriented tax professional to join its Singapore practice. The role focuses on servicing a portfolio of tax clients, preparing corporate and personal income tax returns, and addressing queries from clients and the tax authorities.

You will also assist with other tax matters, respond to ad-hoc duties, and ensure timely delivery in a fast-paced environment. A degree in Accountancy/Tax and 1 year of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Accountancy and/or Tax.
• Minimum 1 year in corporate and personal income tax.
• Experience in Indirect tax preferred.
• Knowledge of Singapore tax laws and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Servicing a portfolio of tax clients
• Prepare client's corporate and individual tax returns, including estimated chargeable income filing and withholding tax returns
• Attend to queries from clients and assist in responding to queries from the tax authorities
• Assist with any other matters in relation to tax
• Assist in ad-hoc duties or assignments

Job Requirements:

• A Degree and/or relevant professional qualification in Accountancy and Tax
• A minimum of 1 year relevant experience in corporate and personal income tax
• Experience in Indirect tax preferred
• Knowledgeable in Singapore tax laws and regulations
• Able to work independently, prioritise and meet deadlines
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office applications
