Job description
    As a Tax Associate at our company, you will play a crucial role in supporting the US tax department and contributing to the Finance and Accounting team. Your responsibilities will revolve around various aspects of tax preparation and compliance, focusing on US GAAP Accounting for Income Taxes, US direct and indirect tax, VAT, and more. If you have a background in general accounting and tax, along with some knowledge of US income tax and/or US GAAP Accounting, this position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth.Your key responsibilities will include preparing US indirect tax workpapers, accruals, and reconciliations, as well as gathering and organizing data for US and foreign income tax compliance. You will assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax provisions, collaborating with the Sr. Tax Director and Tax Manager. Additionally, you will analyze critical US indirect tax issues, review sales and use tax compliance processes, and provide support for non-US VAT compliance.To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or possess relevant work experience in tax. A Chartered Accountant qualification is preferred. With at least 3 years of experience in tax roles, you must be highly analytical and capable of articulating tax analysis effectively in verbal and written forms.
