Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking an experienced accounting professional in Singapore to manage a full set of accounting records and financial transactions using an ERP system. You will compile monthly closing reports, prepare audit schedules, and support GST and corporate tax computations.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have a degree in finance or accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience with full-set accounting exposure in the shipping industry.
• Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems; experience with Dynamics 365 BC is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete set of accounting records and financial transactions through the ERP system.
• Compile monthly financial closing reports and supporting documentation.
• Develop audit schedules and supporting records for internal and external audit requirements.
• Coordinate GST reporting and ensure accurate preparation of relevant tax information.
• Support corporate tax computations, reviews, and financial analysis activities.
• Contribute to the establishment of accounting and reporting processes for AIS or GTP implementation.
• Review financial postings to ensure transactions are allocated to the appropriate revenue and cost centres.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure financial data is properly recorded within the system.
• Provide accounting support for compliance, reporting, and audit-related activities.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to facilitate timely financial reporting and process implementation.
