Scope of Responsibilities (but not limited to):
People and Culture:
- Engage with our colleagues to gain an understanding of our people and culture and brainstorm ideas to enhance our Employee Value Proposition.
- Encourage a culture of open communication to enhance employee job satisfaction and productivity.
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to create a positive and inclusive work culture.
- Plan and coordinate social events to engage employees and promote diversity and inclusion.
Compliance and Procedure:
- Manage exit interviews and offboarding procedures with care and adherence to legal and company policies.
- Document processes and maintain records.
- Work with stakeholders on performance review plans and support performance management of underperforming employees, including the development of a Performance Improvement Plan.
Onboarding/Orientation:
- Ensure all documentation, assets, and access are in place by the start date for a seamless onboarding experience.
- Facilitate engaging orientations and onboarding sessions to welcome new employees and help them integrate smoothly.
Talent Acquisition:
- Work closely with different stakeholders to understand our hiring needs and manage end-to-end recruitment.
Operations:
- Assist Project Directors/Project Managers with human resources planning and staff allocation in accordance with project budgets.
- Determine the company's capacity to interview and shortlist candidates to meet the staffing requirements of projects, assign personnel to projects, and hire staff based on their skills and experience.
- Collaborate with HR departments on employee relations and payroll.
- Provide ongoing resource management and related support (e.g., monitoring staff utilization, workload, and overtime hours).
- Mitigate resource concerns by reallocating resources, adjusting goals, or assigning additional staff.
- Handle various HR-related tasks, including employee inquiries, reports, and ISO audits.
- Collaborate with HR to stay abreast of and familiar with Employment Act, Tripartite Standards, guidelines, and trends in resource management in the IT industry.
- Attend to customers’ needs and queries.
- Plan and administer training and development programs.
- Any ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time.
Desired Skills & Expertise:
- Diploma in Information Technology and/or Human Resource Management, or any relevant field of study.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in recruitment and business development.
- Well-versed with Singapore’s labor laws and fair employment guidelines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin (to communicate with Chinese-speaking staff and employees' feedback and concerns).
- Tenacity to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.
- Ability to multi-task with minimal supervision.
- Able to explore new recruitment channels/methods.
- Recruitment experience in IT Outsourcing and Managed Services industry would be an advantage.
- Candidate with CEI basic, a MUST.
- Proven track record of successfully recruiting and placing candidates in a variety of roles and industries.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
