Job description

Job Title: Finance Specialist (US GAAP & APAC Regions)

* Responsible for month-end closing, financial reporting, tax, and audit matters

* 9-month contract, extendable

* Minimum degree with professional certifications in Accounting/Finance

* Knowledge and experience in US GAAP, IFRS, and other APAC countries' GAAPs are essential

* Basic salary up to $8,000

As part of our Finance team, you'll support financial reporting under US GAAP and local GAAPs, collaborating across stakeholders and countries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for month-end close activities and ensuring reporting accuracy under US GAAP
  • Ensure accurate and timely tax compliance (VAT/GST/SST/JCT/WHT/corporate tax) across APAC regions
  • Prepare and review tax filings; act as a key contact for tax-related queries
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain strong financial governance
  • Support audits and maintain internal controls compliance
  • Participate in ERP localization projects (S4HANA) and other finance initiatives
  • Contribute as an active team player to problem-solving and shared outcomes
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum degree with professional certifications in Accounting/Finance
  • 5-8 years of full sets accounting and financial reporting experience in a large, regional organization
  • Knowledge and experience in US GAAP, IFRS, and other APAC GAAPs are essential
  • Knowledge in SAP is a plus
  • Good communication skills for stakeholder engagement
