Job summary

A leading company in renewable energy is seeking an accounting professional for a 5-month contract with extension potential. The role involves handling journal entries, maintaining ledger accounts, and supporting financial closing processes. Candidates should possess a diploma in accounting and at least two years of relevant experience, ideally with knowledge of US GAAP and SAP proficiency.

Qualifications

• Min 2 years of experience in accounts payable duties.
• Good communication in dealing with stakeholders.
• Knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and APAC countries GAAPs is preferred.

Job description

Job Title: Accountant (5-Month Contract)

* Dealing with basic accounting duties - journal entries etc.

* 5 Months Contract/ Extendable

* Min Diploma with at least 2 years of experience in accounting function

* Proficiency in SAP will be a plus

* Basic Salary up to $5,000 / IMMEDIATE Preferred

Job Responsibilities:

1. Prepare accurate and timely journal entries for various financial transactions
2. Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
3. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
4. Support the preparation of financial reports and statements
5. Review and match invoices, receipts, and supporting documents
6. Help ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards
7. Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation as needed
8. Handle other ad hoc queries as required

Job Requirements:

1. Min Diploma in Accounting and Finance or related fields
2. Min 2 years of experience in accounts payables related duties
3. Knowledge of SAP is a plus
4. Good communication skills for dealing with stakeholders
5. Preferably with knowledge and experience in US GAAP, IFRS, and GAAPs of APAC countries
