A leading health company in Singapore is seeking an Accounting Assistant on a 5-month contract. The role involves essential accounting duties, including journal entries and ledger management. Candidates should hold a relevant diploma and have at least 2 years of accounting experience. Proficiency in SAP and strong communication skills are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Min 2 years of experience in accounting functions.
• Knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and APAC GAAPs preferred.
• Good communication skills in dealing with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Job description

* Dealing with basic accounting duties - journal entries etc.

* 5 Months Contract/ Extendable

* Min Diploma with at least 2 years of experience in accounting function

* Proficiency in SAP will be a plus

* Basic Salary up to $5,000 / IMMEDIATE Preferred

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and timely journal entries for various financial transactions
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Support the preparation of financial reports and statements
• Review and match invoices, receipts, and supporting documents
• Help ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards
• Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation as needed
• Other ad hoc queries whenever required

Job Requirements:

• Min Diploma in Accounting and Finance or other related fields
• Min 2 years of experience in accounts payables related duties
• Knowledge in SAP is a plus
• Good communication skills in dealing with stakeholders
• Preferably with US GAAP, IFRS, and APAC countries GAAPs knowledge and experience
