Job summary

A leading banking institution is seeking an accounting professional for a 5-month contract role in Singapore. You will handle journal entries, assist with financial reporting, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Candidates should possess a diploma in accounting and two years of relevant experience, with proficiency in SAP as an added advantage.

Qualifications

• Min 2 years of experience in accounting or accounts payables.
• Understanding of US GAAP, IFRS, and APAC accounting standards.
• Knowledge in SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain journal entries for financial transactions.
• Assist with monthly/yearly closing processes and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

Job description

* Dealing with basic accounting duties - journal entries etc.

* 5 Months Contract/ Extendable

* Min Diploma with at least 2 years of experience in accounting function

* Proficiency in SAP will be a plus

* Basic Salary up to $ 5,000 / IMMEDIATE Preferred

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and timely journal entries for various financial transactions

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts

Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes

Support the preparation of financial reports and statements

Review and match invoices, receipts, and supporting documents

Help ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards

Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation as needed

Other ad hoc queries whenever is required

Job Requirements:

Min Diploma in Accounting and Finance or other related fields

Min 2 years of experience in accounts payables related duties

Knowledge in SAP is a plus

Good communication in dealing with stakeholders

Preferably with US GAAP, IFRS and APAC countries GAAPs knowledge and experienc
