Job summary

A prominent firm is seeking an accounting professional for a 5-month, extendable contract. The candidate will handle journal entries, maintain general ledger accounts, and assist with financial reporting. Candidates must have a diploma in accounting or finance and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in SAP is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Min 2 years of experience in accounts payables duties.
• Knowledge in US GAAP, IFRS, and APAC countries GAAPs preferred.

Job description

* Dealing with basic accounting duties - journal entries etc.

* 5 Months Contract/ Extendable

* Min Diploma with at least 2 years of experience in accounting function

* Proficiency in SAP will be a plus

* Basic Salary up to $5,000 / IMMEDIATE Preferred

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and timely journal entries for various financial transactions
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Support the preparation of financial reports and statements
• Review and match invoices, receipts, and supporting documents
• Help ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards
• Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation as needed
• Other ad hoc queries whenever required

Job Requirements:

• Min Diploma in Accounting and Finance or related fields
• Min 2 years of experience in accounts payables duties
• Knowledge in SAP is a plus
• Good communication skills for stakeholder interactions
• Preferably with US GAAP, IFRS, and APAC countries GAAPs knowledge and experience
