A leading national organization is looking for an experienced accountant to manage accounting duties on a 5-month contract basis. The role involves preparing journal entries, managing ledger accounts, and assisting with compliance and audits. Candidates should have a diploma in accounting, 2 years of relevant experience, and a good understanding of SAP.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting functions.
• Proficiency in SAP is a plus.
• Knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and APAC countries GAAPs preferred.

Job description

* Dealing with basic accounting duties - journal entries etc.

* 5 Months Contract/ Extendable

* Min Diploma with at least 2 years of experience in accounting function

* Proficiency in SAP will be a plus

* Basic Salary up to $ 5,000 / IMMEDIATE Preferred

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and timely journal entries for various financial transactions

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts

Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes

Support the preparation of financial reports and statements

Review and match invoices, receipts, and supporting documents

Help ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards

Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation as needed

Other ad hoc queries whenever is required

Job Requirements:

Min Diploma in Accounting and Finance or other related fields

Min 2 years of experience in accounts payables related duties

Knowledge in SAP is a plus

Good communication in dealing with stakeholders

Preferably with US GAAP, IFRS and APAC countries GAAPs knowledge and experienc
