Job summary

Rivas-JH Kim Taekwondo School in Singapore is seeking dedicated Taekwondo Instructors to deliver structured, engaging lessons for students of all ages and skill levels.

You will plan, adapt and monitor progress, maintain a safe training environment, and communicate with parents while working closely with management and staff to coordinate lessons.

Qualifications

• Certified Taekwondo Black Belt.
• Minimum secondary school qualification, GCE 'O' Levels or equivalent.
• Able to communicate in English.
• Patient, responsible and enthusiastic about teaching students of all ages.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Teaching or coaching experience is an advantage, particularly with young children.

Responsibilities

Job description

Established in Singapore in 2003, Rivas-JH Kim Taekwondo School is part of the international JH Kim Taekwondo legacy, which began more than 50 years ago in Boston under Grandmaster Jae Hun Kim.

We are looking for dedicated Taekwondo Instructors to deliver structured, engaging lessons for students across different ages and skill levels.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Taekwondo lessons for children, teens and adults

• Plan and adapt lessons to suit students’ ages, abilities and training goals

• Develop students’ technique, fitness, confidence and discipline

• Maintain a safe, positive and supportive training environment

• Communicate with parents about their child’s development
