Job summary

TALENTSIS PTE. LTD. seeks a proactive Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure across public and hybrid environments, with hands-on AWS, Azure, or GCP experience. You will implement infrastructure as code, ensure security and performance, and support CI/CD pipelines.

Degree in Computer Science is required, with strong fundamentals in virtualization, networking, and cloud-native services. The role focuses on reliability, scalability, and ongoing optimization.

Job description

We are seeking a proactive and technically strong Cloud Engineers with hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have solid knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), networking fundamentals, virtualization, and security best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions across public and hybrid cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Plan, execute, monitor, and deliver cloud migration, deployment, and infrastructure upgrade projects.
• Provision and maintain cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, security, and performance of cloud-based systems.
• Monitor cloud environments and ensure compliance with contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Perform routine maintenance, patching, backup management, and disaster recovery planning.
• Implement and manage virtual networks, VPNs, firewalls, and security configurations in cloud environments.
• Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to support CI/CD pipelines and containerized workloads.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve cloud infrastructure and network-related issues.
• Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and project reports.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent required.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with virtualization, hypervisors, and cloud-native services.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of networking concepts including VPC, VPN, firewalls, load balancers, and routing.
• Understanding of security best practices in cloud infrastructure.
