Our deep sector knowledge and global resources allow us to provide a breadth of services to our clients.

You’ll work alongside our clients to help them make decisions and implement solutions in order to enhance business value. You will drive pioneering propositions across the wider Insurance industry within SEA, such as regulatory and accounting transformation, digital transformation, end-to-end operational excellence, M&A etc. You will exercise strong numerical, analytical and critical thinking skills, solve complex problems, and communicate your findings. Finally, you will be encouraged to work collaboratively in a team.

You’ll support our clients and our firm with:

1. On-going projects, ranging from valuation and pricing, M&A, capital management etc.
2. Implementation of IFRS 17 from both a technical and non-technical actuarial standpoint.
3. Past performance diagnostics and future strategy planning to support our clients achieve their growth objectives.
4. Target operating model design and implementation to facilitate digitalization, growth, efficiency etc.
5. Process improvement and technology enablement across the entire insurance value chain (including but not limited to distribution, underwriting and claims management).
6. New market entry for (re)insurers across SEA.
7. Business development initiatives, including identifying new opportunities, generating proposals and industry benchmarking.
8. Management and development of junior team members.

Requirements

If you are someone with:

1. Minimum 12 years of working experience in the Consulting Industry and/or Financial Services Industry – Insurance (Life / General Insurance / Re-Insurance / Takaful).
2. Experience with Prophet modelling and any other computing skills in R/Python/VBA/SAS/SQL is an advantage.
3. An appreciation of the consulting lifestyle and ability to travel (both locally and abroad) is a pre-requisite to fit to our short-term and long-term project assignment.
4. Experience in leading teams and projects.
5. Proven demonstration of sound business acumen, teamwork and leadership qualities.
6. Strong analytical skills, excellent oral and written communication skills in English, be self-motivated, and be able to work in stressful situations with changing priorities.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to think out-of-the-box, work under pressure and tight project timelines.
8. Drive, tenacity, client focused and results oriented.
9. Knowledge of Southeast Asia market, the core trends and drivers, with proficiency in articulating regulatory, economic, technological, and business impacts on key institutions is an advantage.
