In the vast economic region of Southeast Asia, approaching a population of 700 million, Japanese companies have been increasingly keen to invest in recent years. As the businesses of Japanese companies entering Southeast Asia grow and diversify, the number of consultations on technology-driven transformations has been rising. Our department has seen consistent and robust growth over the past three years.

Especially since COVID-19, there has been a significant increase in requests for projects that enhance integrated global management and transparency in management. The themes of these projects vary, but common points include:

  • Organizing inventory and SCM information

In Southeast Asia, these themes often precede those in Japan, and we sometimes handle topics such as establishing new companies or restructuring business units. Our company is recognized for its comprehensive response capabilities, including technology, and we expect more opportunities in this area, which has led us to actively recruit for this position.

Examples of projects include:

  • Global implementation of S/4 HANA for a digital entertainment company
  • Overhaul of core systems to realize DX for a telecommunications company
  • Building core systems to enhance business operations and management for a food manufacturer
  • System construction to standardize operations at overseas locations for a hygiene products manufacturer
  • Implementation of SAP IBP to achieve Demand & Supply Process for a pharmaceutical company

Utilizing our global group’s unique modeling tools, industry-specific solutions, and global best practices and know-how, you will lead SAP projects aimed at reconstructing customer businesses and strengthening global collaboration in large-scale projects.

Requirements:

  • Native-level proficiency in Japanese with business-level English
  • Or native-level proficiency in English with business-level Japanese
  • Experience in leading projects
  • Proven track record of contributing to securing projects through proposal activities
  • Project experience in the areas listed in the "Job Description" within a consulting firm or technology vendor

We are looking for individuals with knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Core Business Operations
    • Experience in overseeing logistics or accounting fields and defining necessary information integration across various operations
    • Experience in defining business flows and requirements in one or more core business areas (sales, logistics, procurement, production, accounting, finance, etc.)
  • Experience in one or more business areas in SAP implementation
  • Experience in one or more phases of SAP implementation (from business requirements definition to design, development, testing, go-live preparation, and stabilization)
  • Project Management
    • Project management or project leadership experience in SAP core system package implementation

Candidates with the following experiences are particularly welcome:

  • Experience leading specific business areas or entire projects in SAP implementation
  • Experience with S/4HANA implementation
  • Comprehensive experience covering all phases from requirements definition onward in SAP implementation projects
  • Project management and team leadership experience in global projects
  • Consulting experience related to Southeast Asia

The expected human skills are as follows:

  • Ability to proactively engage in delivery and acquisition of SAP and related areas while actively communicating with diverse stakeholders
  • A mindset to actively participate in developing new solutions and generating customer value as part of our offerings, aiming to create new things that do not yet exist in the market
